Ashley Burtch joined Performance Roofing and Siding team, bringing her expertise in helping our production process run smoothly and keeping customers informed about the process as we refresh the look of their home . A Waterford native and Arizona State University alumni, Ashley’s background in hiring for roofing companies and providing consulting services across various industries has equipped her with valuable client relations skills.

Though new to the roofing industry, she’s drawn to the opportunity for new challenges and enjoys connecting with people in this fast-paced environment. Ashley appreciates the family-like atmosphere and collaborative team spirit at Performance Roofing and Siding. She is focused on developing strong client relationships through consistent communication. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, tending to her chickens, spending time with family at the lake, and cheering for the University of Michigan and Detroit Red Wings.

I joined Performance Roofing and siding currently serving as the call Center Coordinator, where my role focuses on answering incoming calls, scheduling estimates, and supporting the overall customer experience from first contact. While I did not come from a roofing background, I spent over 16 years in grocery retail, which provided a strong foundation in customer service, prioritization, and operational efficiency. That experience has translated seamlessly into managing call center flow, setting appointments, and understanding which tasks need immediate attention to support production goals.

What attracted me to this role wasn’t the industry itself, but the company and what it stands for. Since joining the team, I’ve felt incredibly supported and welcomed, which has made the transition into a new industry both rewarding and motivating. One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced has been learning the roofing industry from roof on down, but it has also been one of the most fulfilling parts of my role. The trust placed in me from the very first week has been empowering, allowing me to contribute meaningfully and help the team succeed.

Outside of work, I was involved in volunteer efforts, including serving on the EDGE Women in Leadership Committee at a previous company and supporting Gleaners Food Bank of Southeast Michigan. In my free time, I value being able to spend weekends with my family, especially taking trips up north for trail riding side-by-sides. I also enjoy relaxing with lifelong friends, whether that’s at a local brewery or gathered around a bonfire. Looking ahead, my goal over the next 12 months is to continue learning the industry in depth and support the ongoing growth of the business. And when it comes to sports, I’m a proud Georgia Bulldogs fan.

Joe Franklin is a seasoned Service Technician with Performance Roofing & Siding, proudly serving homeowners throughout Oakland County and the surrounding Metro Detroit communities. Born and raised in Pontiac where he still resides today Joe has been in the roofing and siding industry since January 1995, building more than 31 years of hands-on expertise. Inspired by his father, who was also a roofing and siding installer, Joe learned the trade from a young age and developed a deep commitment to craftsmanship, problem-solving, and customer care. At Performance Roofing & Siding, Joe specializes in roofing and siding service repairs, and he enjoys the variety of visiting different homes each day, working outdoors, and meeting new people. Known for his positive attitude and strong sense of teamwork, Joe values the family-like environment within the company. When he’s not helping homeowners protect their homes, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids and cheering on the Detroit Lions.

Trevor Boone is a highly experienced Service Technician with Performance Roofing & Siding, proudly serving homeowners across Oakland County, Genesee County, Detroit, and the Metro Detroit area. Originally from Wayne and now based in Canton, MI, Trevor has spent over 15 years in the roofing and siding industry a career path inspired early on by his stepdad. Specializing in all roofing and siding repairs, Trevor takes pride in diagnosing issues quickly and creating the right solutions to keep homes protected. Known for his problem-solving mindset and commitment to quality, he finds the greatest reward in helping homeowners resolve concerns with their homes. Outside of work, Trevor enjoys hunting, working on cars and motorcycles, and spending time with his family. He’s also a big fan of the University of Michigan, the Detroit Lions, and the Detroit Tigers and if you ask him about the future, he may just tell you he plans to be a famous rapper one day.

Andrew Jordan, Production Manager at Performance Roof and Siding, brings over 30 years of construction industry experience to his role. Starting his career as a framing carpenter, Andrew honed his skills in high-end woodworking and project management before joining the company. With a passion for reconstructing neglected projects and integrating modern technology into traditional structures, Andrew excels in job delivery and management. His background in running pizzerias early in his career instilled exceptional service skills that he applies to his current work, where he most enjoys interacting with various customers.

Outside of work, Andrew is a competitive individual who cherishes time spent with his family, either supporting his daughters’ academic and athletic pursuits or relaxing at their lake house in northern Michigan.

Eric Russo is a Roofing and Siding Estimator at Performance Roofing and Siding. Hailing from Philadelphia, Eric is based in the Greater Detroit Area, bringing over 12 years of experience in exterior home remodeling. Eric can be found servicing the Ann Arbor, Bloomfield Hills, Ferndale, and Pontiac areas. His career began with a major remodeling company, where he advanced into leadership roles where he excelled in communication skills. Eric is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, guiding homeowners through the entire process from initial consultation to post-installation support.

He takes great pride in helping clients realize their dream homes while ensuring they receive the best value and care. Outside of work, Eric enjoys staying active with his dog, cooking, rooting on the Lions and Sixers, and traveling with his family.

Nick Putz is the Sales Manager at Performance Roofing & Siding, serving homeowners throughout Oakland County and the surrounding Southeast Michigan communities. Originally from Croswell, Michigan, Nick now lives in Oxford and began his journey with Performance in October 2025. He brings a decade of experience in the exterior remodeling industry, having first entered the field in March 2016. Nick attended Saginaw Valley State University and has spent his career supporting customers across Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Livingston, Washtenaw, and Genesee counties. Over the past 10 years, he has held high-level leadership roles and managed teams ranging from 6 to 20 professionals. His experience building a successful business from the ground up combined with mentorship from strong industry leaders has helped him seamlessly integrate into the Performance team. While Nick didn’t initially seek out a career in roofing, he quickly discovered a passion for the work and the people he serves. Today, his role centers on leading day-to-day operations while supporting in-home consultations and helping homeowners protect their biggest investment. He also finds fulfillment in developing his team and empowering others to grow, both personally and professionally. Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with his daughter, golfing, and bowling. A proud Michigan sports fan, he cheers on all the Detroit teams and of course, Go Blue! His goal over the next year is to continue building a strong, customer-focused team and help make Performance Roofing & Siding a trusted name throughout the home improvement industry.

Dave Mead brings a unique blend of craftsmanship and customer service to his role as Estimator at Performance Roofing & Siding. With 15 years of experience in the millwork industry creating custom cabinets and furniture, Dave developed an eye for detail and quality that seamlessly transfers to exterior home solutions. Dave partners with homeowners to deliver exceptional roofing and siding projects from consultation to completion.

The Gladwin, MI native leverages his entrepreneurial background-including founding and running his own cabinet business for 12 years and directing a nonprofit organization for over a decade-to provide clients with confident, knowledgeable service. Based in Lansing, Dave regularly visits the Grand Rapids market, bringing his passion for transforming homes to communities across Michigan. When not helping customers bring their vision to life, the former touring musician enjoys songwriting, fishing, golfing, and biking outdoors with family and friends, while also volunteering with YoungLife.

Roger Sovis, the General Manager at Performance Roofing and Siding, brings a wealth of experience to his role since joining the company in 2024. With a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and an MBA in Strategic Management from Azusa Pacific University, Roger’s educational background complements his diverse professional experience. Having entered the roofing industry in April 2021, he leverages his prior construction management expertise from the Experiential Marketing and Exhibit industry to enhance PRS’s processes and customer service. As General Manager, Roger’s responsibilities span team leadership, strategic planning, operations management, and customer relations, with a focus on developing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures. A resident of Northeast Oakland County, Roger’s market knowledge covers much of Oakland County, parts of Genesee County, and Northeast Livingston County.

Outside of work, Roger is actively involved with Oakwood Community Church and Leadership Oakland, demonstrating his commitment to community engagement. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, praying, working on home projects, and attending collector car shows and tours, showcasing a well-rounded approach to both his professional and personal life.

I am a construction professional with more than a decade of hands-on experience in carpentry, building, project management, estimating, and consulting. As a former general contractor and business owner, I understand every stage of a project—from initial takeoffs and budgeting through trade coordination, construction, and final delivery. I combine practical field knowledge with strong leadership and communication skills, helping homeowners and businesses make informed decisions while ensuring projects are completed efficiently, profitably, and to a high standard.

With over 30 years of experience in home improvement, I’m passionate about helping homeowners improve and protect their homes.

My passion for this work began with my dad, who built our first home and taught me the importance of doing things right and treating people like family. Those lessons continue to guide me in every project and every customer relationship.

As a University of Michigan graduate, I bring a commitment to quality, hard work, and attention to detail to every project.

Ensuring my clients love the way their house looks when they pull up in their driveway every evening…means the world to me.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing golf, spending time with my wife and family, sharing a joke, and listening to live music.

Each and every day my goal is to be as kind and helpful to every person I cross on a daily basis. I have found that this fuels my energy and allows me to be responsible and productive as best as I can. As a father of two and a grandfather to many, I strive to set an example of practicing what I preach. Teamwork always, makes the dreams work.

Senior Project Manager & Storm Restoration Specialist

With over a decade of dedicated field experience in exterior restoration, Nathan Kuhn serves as Senior Project Manager for the Storm Division at Performance Roofing & Siding. Nathan specializes in navigating complex insurance claims, managing large-scale residential and commercial restoration projects, and advocating for property owners to ensure full recovery after severe weather events.

Sarah Hernandez is a West Michigan native but also from the east side of michigan. She brings her experience education as well as human resources to this lead coordinator role. Providing exceptional customer service detail and care to each that call in. Outside the office she spends quality time with her son and husband visiting the lakeshore, video games and tending to all her animals on her farm.

David Robinson, the Owner and Operator of Performance Roofing and Siding’s Grand Rapids location, brings extensive industry knowledge strengthening our team. With his education from Central Michigan University and over 15 years of professional experience, David’s background forms a strong foundation for leadership. Having entered the construction and building materials industry in July 2016, he leverages his expertise in installations, materials, and customer service to enhance the company’s value proposition. David’s responsibilities encompass strategic growth, team development, operational efficiency, and customer relationship management, with a focus on establishing a strong presence in the Greater Grand Rapids market.

A native of Westphalia, Michigan, currently transitioning from Plymouth, his market knowledge spans the Grand Rapids and Lansing regions, positioning him to effectively serve these growing territories. Outside of work, David demonstrates his commitment to personal growth through continuous learning and development. In his free time, he enjoys DIY home projects, golfing, and family activities, while actively supporting Michigan sports teams including the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, and both Central Michigan and University of Michigan athletics, reflecting his dedication to both professional excellence and personal pursuits.

As the founder and President of Performance Roofing and Siding, this Waterford, Michigan native brings a lifelong passion for construction and entrepreneurship to his role. Launching the company, he achieved rapid growth while maintaining a focus on being the best in class rather than the biggest.
